Zotec Foundation Opens Applications for $500,000 in Nonprofit Grant Funding

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Apr. 1, 2021 The Zotec Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Zotec Partners (Zotec), one of the country’s largest, privately-held, technology-enabled revenue cycle management (RCM) companies for healthcare providers and their patients, launches its inaugural open grant funding program to Indiana charities serving at-risk youth. The Foundation will award $500,000 in grants to deserving nonprofits that implement programs and provide resources to prepare underserved youth for brighter futures. Organizations have until May 31, 2021, to apply for one of the Foundation’s 20 grants totaling $25,000 each.

“The Zotec Foundation is thrilled to extend our commitment to charities across the state—contributing comprehensive resources that help youth succeed and supporting positive community outcomes,” said T. Scott Law, Chairman of the Zotec Foundation and Founder and CEO of Zotec Partners. “We’re invested in not only providing financial resources but truly partnering with impactful nonprofits to drive lasting change and innovative solutions in the areas of health, career training and mentoring.”

Zotec Foundation funding priorities include at-risk youth programming in three main categories:

• Education, training and career development in information technology fields
• Mentoring focused on self-responsibility, healthy life choices and planning for the future
• Programing that drives better access to medical care and health outcomes

The Foundation will focus funding on organizations in and around the city of Indianapolis with special consideration to developing nonprofits with an annual operating budget below $2 million. Nonprofits can find out more about grant details, eligibility and application process on the Zotec Foundation webpage or apply online here beginning on April 1, 2021. Grant funding announcements will take place in August 2021.

“There are impactful nonprofit organizations across the state of Indiana working tirelessly to provide underserved youth with the resources, tools and experience to create brighter futures,” said Amy Waldron, Director of Foundation and Corporate Impact at Zotec. “Through the Foundation’s grant program, we are honored to help these organizations grow programming, extend community reach and support greater opportunities.”

The Zotec Foundation was founded in 2018 by T. Scott Law with the vision that all underserved youth in Indiana deserve the opportunity to thrive and use their talents and abilities to participate in a positive and meaningful way. In 2020, the Foundation gave more than $180,000 in grants to nonprofit organizations.
